Hydrangeas after the rain. NC Arboretum, Asheville, NC, USA
I was quite taken by the delicate color of these hydrangeas.Canon 7DTokina 100mm macroLuminosity adjusted in Photoscape

Beautiful capture…those are tiny little buds on there!!! The leafs look thick!!! I never noticed the leaves until now. Always pay too much attention to the flower and the leaves get ignored!!! Poor leaves :o)
Those are the flowers, Dawn. Each flower head is made up of many little flowers that bloom at different times. I am not sure what variety this one is, I just like the lack of color, it starts out a soft green and then fades to white. Thanks for the comment and fave gf!
Very beautiful, we just drove though your beautiful city tow days ago …. :))))
The droplets add to the delicate look of these white hydrangeas. Expertly exposed, too, as you have so much detail in the white petals.
Thank you for your kind support, Celeste.
Thank you, Barbara!
I like the way you filled up the frame with these liovely hydrangeas, Christine. Celeste is correct – perfect exposed for also to bring up all that petal detail.
Thanks for always having something nice to say, Kat!
So lovely Christine!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment!
Beautiful macro Mate. Well done.
Hey Al!!! I think you would like the Arboretum. We were there for 5 hrs, had a real nice time. The weather threatened rain so we didn’t venture too far from the visitor center, but there was plenty to see and photograph. The gardens are certainly an inspiration. Of course every time I broke out the macro lens, the wind would kick up…LOL…but I managed to get a few decent shots. So glad you like this one, no textures and minimal processing, a rare thing for me!
Christine this is so beautiful!!!
Thank you so much, Sharon : )
