Wishing you a Peaceful New Year !
Thank you Albert for your lovely wishes. Happy New Year to you too.
Beautiful shot of this charmer! Similar to, but quite different from (especially that yellow ‘mask’) the beautiful Northern Lapwings we encounter in Europe! This is especially fine ~ yellow face among the yellow flowers. Well caught, Michelle. Bonne annee, bonne sante!
Thank you Sheila. This one is native to Australia. Hope you had a great New Year Eve. :))
This is a great capture Michelle, I have’nt seen one of these beauties before, we’re coming to France again this year, thought we’d try Colmar and the surrounding area.take carexx
Thank you Malcolm. This bird is native to Australia. They are always looking for food on the ground.Good idea to go to Colmar. If you had never been there, you will certainly like this beautiful region. Make sure to taste the wines, the famous “Choucroute”, the tasty Kuglehopf and many other things. Enjoy your trip. :))
That’s a delightful capture of this lovely bird Michelle – the yellow flowers add to the overall image !
Many thanks Roy. This bird was having a nap among flowers and I disturbed it with my camera noise. ☼ :))
