Old tatched Irish country famine cottageby Donny Ocleirgh
A deserted farm cottage in rural ireland with a tatch roof. This is a really old famine cottage with a pile of turf outside, a small shed and an overgrown wall.
Conas ta’ tu’ My G.G.Grandmother left Ballybofey Donegal in 1848 to escape the famine, and emmigrated to Australia. I have been back to see which part she came from, and loved it. Go raibh maith agut.
