Driftwood in negative film effect by

Back to the old days with this photo digitally converted to look like the negative film of the past. The deep orange colour is the result of a deep blue sky on the original shot.

NIKON D5100 with 10-24mm NIKKOR ZOOM

1 Shot Handheld at F/10mm – 1/250s – f/8 – ISO 100

Initial colour photo tonemapped with Photomatix. Then, conversion in negative film with Perfect Effects 4. Final adjustments with Nikon NX2.

Wow this is wonderful, like molten rock with age old figures marching through it, love the jewel like quality of the purples and blues.

  • Very inspiring result indeed. One of my preferred too. Thank you very much for your kind comment Maria. Greatly appreciated ;-) – Jeremy
