The original oil Painting is 1m x 1.1m, and is one of a series of six paintings that I made in response to my experience of watching my neighbour Rosalie sweeping her backyard every morning to the cawing of the crows and the slap, slap slapping of washing on the washing rock from next door.

This is a very appealing oil painting. The technique you have with oils is very similar to watercolor. The bright spot of light in the right forground and on the woman’s back filters down from the top of the painting so gradually. Great work
