I began studying Studio Art in the first years of University, but soon found a love for Geography and Biological Sciences. The intricate details of nature propelled my creative side forward and i have never looked back. I graduated spring of 2008 with a degree in Geography and an unoffical minor in the arts. I find my inspiration through simply gazing out the window and letting my imagination take over. Many fantasy artists greatly influenced my early artistic development; artists such as Brian Froud, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Amy Brown, and the Grahame Johnstone sisters. With a broad introduction to many forms of art through University i developed a prominent niche in photography, digital painting, and pencil drawing. This has allowed me two very separate areas of focus: the ability to go out into the natural world and capture through the lense what i believe to be utterly breath-taking as well as the expanse of imagination to delve into the fantastic and strange and collide the fanticiful and realistic world. One is rarely far from the other.
An ever-developing form, my artistic merrit is not limited to fanticiful pieces but merely a favorite place to draw inspiration from.
Welcome to my world
