We would like to know, that is myself and RedBubble themselves, if we are Adobe people or not?
Do you use Adobe products? Have you even heard of Adobe products?
Will you be using them in the future?
Do you use them for the images you put here on RedBubble or perhaps you have it and cant use it?
This includes any of the following….
Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator,
Adobe Indesign,
Adobe Creative Suite,
Adobe Premiere,
Adobe Audition,
Adobe Soundbooth,
Adobe After Effects,
Adobe Framemaker
Have you ever used them and if you stopped, why?
Thanks for answering ASAP :)

I use Photoshop but have to admit I am more of a Paint Shop Pro person, in fact thats what I teach so I suppose I have to be LOL
I find the Adobe products too expensive for normal people to be honest and more set up for businesses to afford. A shame really.
Has any one tried the Creative Suite yet? Is it cool or not?
Robert O'Neill, 2 months ago
Yes, I use the Master Suite-
After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop mostly. Pretty good, but has a tendency to crash. I have made a few movies-all on Premiere. Special effects are pretty easy in After Effects. Seems easier to use than the likes of Fusion or Combustion. I have also used Audition quite a bit for sound editing, but when it comes to more complex track layout, I switch to Nuendo.Rob

I am just using PS Elements 6.0… and it works on my older Vista OS sort’a. Bought it fairly cheap at Costco.
Would readlly like to get CS3 but that will have to wait for awhile…as you said, is pretty spendy.
aphoto4you, 2 months ago
I use PS CS2….not very often but i use it…Plan to get CS3 but waiting for bugs to be iron out…I am not usualy a person who will jump on a band wagon right a way….soon to be though…
Richard Veal, 2 months ago
Cs3 for me, and still have Photoshop 7.
Sometimes use PSP 9 though.
Would really like to get Lightroom though.

PSP is a lovely tool for most things. I do admit to being annoyed at the finishing quality of some of the images, after using Photoshop once or twice their quality is far superior, but then so is the price :(

:) thank you.

Is it the size of your computer that makles it crash or the programme itself? That sounds really rude doesnt it LOL You know what I mean hopefully….

I’M A ROOKIE WHEN IT COMES TO USING SOME OF THESE PROGRAMS. I’VE ONLY RECENTLY DISCOVERED HOW TO DO CERTAIN THINGS WITH ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 2.0. I TRIED 7.0 BUT FOUND I LIKE 2.0 BETTER FOR SOME REASON. I ALSO USE PRINTMASTER 11 TO MERGE SOME IMAGES AND THEN CONTINUE WITH APS2.O FOR THE FINISHED LOOK.

I use CS2. Primarily photoshop. It’s the best editing tool available. Now all I need is CS3 and I’ll be a happy man. lol

I have only used adobe reader and photoshop at my last job for a short time, at the moment my graphic capabilities are somewhat limited due to memory, I will probably only be using adobe reader in the future, I took an Adobe Photoshop class in hp.com (a free class) and it look very complicated, therefore I let the engineers at work helped me with the pictures to make customer manuals, and they develop them with photoshop, and I did the rest of the books. I was working for AT & T through an agency as a technical writer to help them with internet installation.

Many members in the Digital Arts and Patterns Group use Adobe products.

Angel, PS Elements 6, does the basics for the most part.
You can add frames and little stuff. Pretty much know the in’s and out of this program now.
It will also sometimes lock up on me too…and pretty sure it is having a problem with the older Vista OS. I have talked to them about it…so the problem in known to Adobe. Not a bad program for the price. Can check out info here.

Also have the free irfanview…but that is even more basic than PS6. Only use it for family only photos.

Currently I am using a free download. Per their web site:
GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.
It is a raster editor, which means that it performs operations directly on the pixels that make up the image, and not a vector editor. Other (proprietary) raster editors include Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Paintshop Pro and the humble Microsoft Paint.
It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.
GIMP is written and developed under X11 on UNIX platforms. But basically the same code also runs on MS Windows and Mac OS X.
I can tell you as someone who had never used such a program prior to taking up photography a month or so ago, this was a fairly easy program to use – at least for me it has been.
I am currently running MS Windows Vista Home Edition and have yet to encounter a compatibility issue.

I use Photoshop Elements 5, and Acrobat Reader. I have used Premiere in the past; I stopped because it was a pirate copy and my conscience bothered me. Also, it wouldn’t run on XP ;)

CS3 for me
I also use Premier from time to time
I have used the others listed at the beginning of this post above, when I was in college but have long since forgotten how to use them properly. Photoshop CS3 and Premier I can’t do without to be honest I find them incredible. I have also purchased PSP Photo X2 because I had read some excellent reports about it, and I wanted an other graphics suite for another machine, but to date I haven’t got to grips with it at all.

Plynlimon, 2 months ago
Like Angel I mainly use PSP, purely for the ease…however if I want real quality or something a little unusual….its back to the manual to find out how to do it in CS2.
I also use Adobe acrobat with work…..I find Adobe products very good, but somewhat complex and the update screen barges in like its the most important thing my pc will ever do, which it aint and that bugs me!
1stAngel in reply to Plynlimon’s comment, 2 months ago
LOL I so agree about the updates!

I use Photoshop and In Design nearly every day. Illustrator not so frequently. PS is for my artwork and ID for my work – laying out brochures, and other communications materials.
