Duck Tales
This duck stayed next to my dog and myself all the time we were sitting on the bank. We had no food and he didn’t come close, he just seemed to need some company.

He kept hoping you would manufacture something for him to eat or that your dog would play. hehe GREAT SHOT!! They almost always fly before I get into camera range.

I have always been lucky in that respect. Swans allow me to hand feed them and I usually get the birds come right up to me. Its the keeping Max quiet so as to not frighten them off that’s the trick, but he is learning and normally lies there until the birds move on :)

I suppose it was lonely, after all there was Lonesome Dove, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to have Lonesome Duck :) Nice detail Beth
