...Or Something Quite Like Her... by 

…something that manifested in the morning air above that area of the Indian Ocean presently called The Gulf of Aden several thousand years ago and which might still be existing there in one form or another to this day!

That’s just a bit of the long and (mostly) imaginary story behind this latest creation of mine. ‘The HandMaiden of Zeponith,Or Something Quite Like Her’ was born in dreams and was inspired by myth (and by fear and by lust and by any number of other feelings and emotions. )

This image comes from a printed scan of an old pencil drawing that I created in 2005 (as a gift for my then ‘special’ friend called ‘Ellie’).The image underwent extensive cropping (to free it of it’s more blatantly erotic elements) and it’s been subjected to much coloring ( with colored pencils and inks) and other enhancements.
