Did you open your Bible to Psalm 107 for a particular reason? So many of the psalms certainly re-enforce the concept of God and country. Psalm 23 is very popular in this regard; however, Psalm 137 is my all time favorite. It also makes a tremendous song lyric. Check it out… The psalms got me through a lot of military deployments in dangerous places overseas when I was young. Thank you for this very moving photograph.
