My nephew is deploying to Afghanistan before year’s end, his second tour of duty in the troubled Middle East, while another nephew is in Iraq, his second tour of duty as well. Their young wives and children try to carry on in their absence. They are all heroes; thank you, Maria, for remembering their self sacrificial giving with such tender images as this one.
