Sparkly Kleen
Fluffy slippers, gingham apron (specially sewn for this shoot) and hair rollers are bound to get strange looks from on-lookers… At least the guys in the laundromat may be convinced to do their laundry more often!
Set in Melbourne.

How hard was it to cull this lot back! I had to stop myself posting after a while but now that I’ve seen this I’m all motivated to stick up another batch :)
Love it.
Helen McLean
It was VERY hard indeed… I think I have culled it further from the 40 down to 25 – there are too many good ones!
Paul Vanzella
What an actress! Love this shot Helen… you’ve really captured a moment here… great shooting, art direction and style in this series… Love it!!!! Glad you uploaded as a series – just works so well!!!!
Claire Brewis
Wow where did you find this place!? Its such a fab location!
Helen McLean
Hi Claire, Thank you! This was at my local laundromat in Spotswood, Victoria (Western suburbs).... Jo and I both thought that her area would have had this style of laundromat but unfortunately for us, all the machines were updated recently.

What isn’t to like about this image. I’d say the only thing it’s missing is a pair of ladies unmentionables hanging a little out of the machine. Another great image Jo and Helen!
Jo O'Brien
Hey Helen, I gave a copy of this to the hairdresser. It now has pride of place on her “wall of fame.”
