God colors himself
On linen painters canvas
He is often lonely
Until simply called to life by us
So he watches television

He sees shining cars
And dishwashing detergents
With hydrating ingredients
“For soft and smooth hands”
And shine & brighten soaps
For dishwashers with 3-in-1 functions
And photoshopped men
With shiny skin and shaved chests
Because chest hair isn’t trendy
And an overkill of plastic women
With exposed stuffed breasts
And loan and insurance ads
And thousands of groceries
Like soup in bags
Containing additional vitamins
But without artificial flavourings
(Because they make the kids hyperactive…)

And he sees the highways
Like scars in the landscape
And the big cities like tumours on the horizon
(Benign or malignant? God doesn’t know…)
And glittering shopping malls
But God has no money

How beautiful, how wonderful!
How sad is this?

Where should God go
With his heaven now?
