Thank you for this. A tragic and haunting image reminding me of at least two beautiful women I have known who lost their battle to this disease and two more that are still fighting. Very poignant!! I am speechless.
Thank YOU for your great comment Valentina!
And don’t forget prevention is better than cure!
My mother sadly passed away from this disease Lilith… but not without a fierce battle as she loved life so much!…This beautiful but poignant reminder that we should not forget the importance of this disease and how many women it affectsHugs
I’m sorry to hear that about your mother Michele… Yes, this disease takes (makes?) so many victims, 1 out of 8 women… More than enough reason to draw some attention to it. xxx
1 out of 8 thats a frightening statistic, early detection does save liesso awareness and quick action is essentialpremotion of social awareness definate good cause lilith

Oh Lilith! What an emotive piece. My sister-in-law has been pronounced breast cancer free this fall. Without the research, well…
Oh wow… Yes, the research is really essential and can save so many lives…and beautiful breasts! Thank you Trish, I’m happy for your sister in law!!!
