When I joined this wonderful and inspiring Red Bubble website, I agreed with the RB guidelines… But well, I think we would still be living in caves if it wasn’t for progress and redefining statements in history and in present time. My image “Kiss me if you’ve missed me”, posted June 8, has been removed as it “violated the RB guidelines”. I am sorry for that… (not for “violating the guidelines” but because it has been removed from my RB gallery). An image of my lower body, most of “the intimate part” covered, beautiful soft lighting, and my hand…giving the presumption of caressing and touching. Respectful and loving words were added to the image. So to me it is hard to believe anything would be wrong with that. On this broad and art-website there are lots of images showing guns, weapons, war equipment, blood dripping from people’s chins, faces vomiting blood, bodies or body parts in a state of disintegration, horror…Images that would keep your kids awake for several nights…and – Oh my! – pierced penises and even “intimate details of the vagina”. Even today I saw comparable images in RB galleries that even go so far as to display both touching and actual penetration. All ok with me by the way! But a hand reaching out to touch the (mostly covered) sacred feminine part of the body is not allowed. So are we talking about “decency” or about double moral standards?

Maybe it’s just the fact that I live in this small and doomed “Sodom and Gomorrah” country in Europe. Will I be banned now?
