This group is a platform to display, challenge and discuss our works. Traditional printmakers images are not produced using a laser, or ink jet printer. They are painstaking produced from a hand crafted plate, or screen and pressed or screed by hand. This is what makes our group unique! This group showcases traditional forms of printmaking from Etching to Linocut, from Screenprint to Collagraph. We also welcome experimental forms of printmaking where the print has been produced primarily by hand. |

This group is dedicated to life session work. It is for those who go out after work for a few hours a week to drawing classes and by doing so are looking to improve in portraying the amazing human form. As the name suggests, it is for the expressionist’s here. While we appreciate the technical perfection of a photo realistic rendering that’s not what we’ll accept here. We want to see your own interpretation of the model, the mood of the work is more important than the technical quality. We accept all mediums that are used in life drawing session… charcoal, conte, watercolour, paint, monotype, printmaking, pastel and sculpture etc. |
