In The Artist’s Words

Artist who prefers to paint portraits and landscapes in oil. Loves to people watch without being judgmental; fascinated by a strong cheek bone, a curl of a lip, a stern brow, kind or mean eyes. It is like reading a book without opening its cover. Simply paint it in your mind.

In my Words

Mick has a portfolio rich in it’s diversity and talent. An accomplished portrait painter Mick has also concurred the art of impressionistic landscape painting. Whether it be oils, watercolour or pastels Mick’s eye for composition and colour make his work irresistible to the observer. You must look through all the pages of his portfolio because you will also find some treasures in the form of his life drawing. A most deserved winner of the challenge The Watercolour Challenge is Mick’s painting Corio bay marina.
