Painters In Modern Times
KAFKA
Kafka PROFILE: I paint….interventions in a landscape of evasion….what does not appear in what does appear…. Kafka uses landscape for inspiration when he produces his work. The colours he uses and strong and dramatic which makes for very powerful imagery. His works are rich in texture and his brush strokes evoke movement in the scenes he paints. Recently he has added the human figure to his portfolio in a series of paintings entitled Apo-Collapse, his use of red in these images creates a sense of great emotion. Kafka is a great painter although his portfolio also contains photographs of landscapes which are undoubtedly the inspiration for much of his work. You must check out his work |
