PROFILE:

I seldom experience a truer artistic passion than the moment I am staring at an empty canvas and a new tube of paint. At that moment the possibilities are endless. My artwork is not indicative of one particular theme, style or subject. I don’t bind myself down with specifics or slow my artistic development with any type of monotony. For me, placing restrictions could deter the possible masterpiece waiting to happen or more importantly slow my artistic growth and development. Painting for me is the place I feel the freest and the only place I can loose track of time. It gives me the ability to let others see what I see and if successful, let them experience the emotions I feel as well.

Trisha portfolio is full of impressionistic style paintings. Her street scenes are very reminiscent of the impressionist cafe genre. Impressionists were obsessed with capturing light and this is something that Trisha captures so well. Her painterly style enhances her paintings by addding life and emotion to her subjects. Trisha has also experimented with expressionist abstraction which sees her passion for colours and shape come to the fore.
