In the Artist’s Words

My name is Jenny Davis. I am a professional Artist working from my studio nestled in the beautiful mountains of the Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia. I work in many different disciplines including: oil painting, collage, sculpture, assemblage, Over the past few years I have been exploring the areas of digital photography,installation, video and sound.
I have shown my work in many countries including Australia,Germany ,Spain, France and USA.
My works are in private and public collections in Australia, UK,Europe the USA.

In my Words

Jenny’s work takes the observer away from the ordinary and into the sublime. She draws from her research the emotion of the places she visits whether that be Paris, New York or her own childhood. Using several mediums to produce her work she choses the best method for representing her ideas. She thrives on colour, shape and form and seems to encompass different styles, yet stays true to her ideals. There are many examples of this in her portfolio and too many for me to include here.
