In the Artists Words

Welcome to my page. I’m basically a self-declared “Corporate Convert”. Although I spent roughly 10 years in corporate education, I’ve been into art as far back as I can remember. About 7 years ago I left a job with a big business consulting firm to teach art.

Now I focus full-time on harnessing my skills and the skills of my high school art students (see Brandon Brenno’s work on here). I’m mostly an acrylic painter and over the last few years have focused on florals and portrait work. Last year I began working with master painter Tom Vincent who’s work is tremendous and who has painted over 300 broadway sets. He miraculously moved into my neighborhood and helped me learn how to paint realism (i.e., Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash). My work tends to be varied in style. I love learning new ways to paint and welcome feedback. I find my students to be the greatest source of true feedback as I work on my paintings.

Please feel free to comment positively AND constructively on my work. It will help me grow as an artist…

PS. This picture is of one of my sons…Jacob. A TRUE artist…

In my Words
When you look at Jeremy’s portfolio is his love of colour and life, whether it be in the form of still life, land or seascape or portraiture, is obvious. He uses colour as the impressionist did, to create light, and in doing so brings his subjects to life!
It’s exciting to imagine him passing on this love for life and art to his high school students and still being able to produce work which is so vibrant.

He is inspired by music which is evident by his portrayal of many musicians as you can see.
So check out his portfolio you wont be disappointed.

A varied and skilled portfolio.
The ‘Peter Tosh’ is one of my favourite portraits on this site.
‘The Drummer’ is excellent.
Well done
