Welcome to the new Gallery feature!

The purpose of this feature is to provide you with a straightforward gallery space in which to place just one of your works that you consider represents you as an artist and which you would like to present to the ‘outside’ world.

There will be a number of separate ‘rooms’ each showing a different form of painting.
These will include; Abstract, Realist, Portrait, Landscape/Seascape and any others that I can think of or you might like to suggest. Please feel free to b-mail me with a subject that you think could be included.

Each group member will be able to upload one (suitable) painting to each of the rooms.

A link to these galleries will be including in the forthcoming ‘Showcase’ page which will be used to promote the group and your work to a selected body of collectors, galleries and potential clients. Please choose your selected work carefully with this in mind. This is an opportunity for you to place your work in front of some influential and knowledgeable people within the art world. Any unsuitable work will be removed.

To post an image;
Go to your overview page – select your ART tab at the top of the page – find the work you would like to post and click on ‘edit’ – when the image appears, right click on it and select properties – select and copy the http address code and then go to the gallery forum and paste the code into the comment box in the gallery of your choice – make sure that you place an exclamation mark (!) at either end of the code (with no spaces) and the picture should appear when you save your comment..

If you have any problems with getting this to work please b-mail one of the moderators/hosts who will be very happy to help you out.

Please also write out the title of the work, the medium it is painted in and the size of the work. This is important as any prospective buyers will need this information.

Please do not add comments or descriptions to the works
This is a shared space, please respect it.

Don’t worry to much if the posting doesn’t work, as long as Marilyn can figure out which painting you have selected she will fix it for you and link it back to the artwork.

The Galleries are an up to date facility so at regular intervals links to work and artists will be checked. If the work or artist no longer exists via the links provided it will be removed from the gallery.
Please endeavor to keep the work and account name updated and active.
