I purchased this violin back in 96’, as i was reading the book The Artist’s Way by: Julia Cameron. Looking for my ‘inner artist’. well, i think i found it. Although . . .it never came through the strings of the violin, more through the lens of my camera. When i did play (and i played often) . . it was more noise and scratching rather than music . . my biggest fans were my 2 cats that sat endlessly at my feet and tilted their heads in sync to the ‘noise’. Perhaps it was music to their ears . . or just them amusing me! Anyway – i still have the violin, but get something other than music from it, I got this series!
Bardi ‘Saltwater’ people at England’s most famous sacred site Stonehenge: Photo: © Julian Andrews. Irrgil / Marrga is a words used by the Bardi ‘Saltwater’ people meaning boomerang & shield. The Bardi people are from the Dampier Peninsula situated around 200 kilometres north-east of Broome, Western Australia. great color of fall along Minnesota’s Lake Superior shoreline. Slow shutter in a strong breeze helped orange leaves paint this fall abstract. Featured at “All Things Orange Artwork Gallery” – March 27, 2009.

I took this photo whilst walking around Brighton and came across piles and piles of orange pipework next to some roadworks. I like the different texture of the plastic and thought the tight crop worked well. I also love the colour and the All Things Orange Artwork Group to which the photo now belongs. They also gave me my first feature. As featured in the All Things Orange Artwork Group in March 09.
I thought it was beautiful seeing this dying flower supported fully in stance by its vibrant neighbour
Bricks, Boring. / Never used to be. This shot was taken right in Newcastle City and then I had fun whist I played with the perspective in PSE. I think it now looks a bit a wall in a pyramid, or at least more ancient than it really is. I love exploring old crafts. Taken with Sony Cybershot 4.1 digital pocket camera.

This rose is one of the many beautiful flowers that were blooming at Tryon Palace on May 12, 2008. The Palace is located in New Bern which was the original capital of NC. The meaning of a yellow rose is joy and happiness, but most of all yellow roses mean friendship. “I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do..They’re really sayin’……I love you.…..what a wonderful world. ;) /
This is a group for artwork/photos and writing that features/discuss the beautiful bright colour orange.
