Best Viewed Full Size Fabulous old rocking chair discovered on the side porch of the Juniata Crossing Mercantile on Route 30 a few minutes northwest of Breezewood, Pennsylvania. I like to think of all the babies being rocked to sleep in this chair; the men enjoying their pipes of a summer’s evening; the women sharing their favorite recipes with their best friends … all the joy and all the love it’s seen … rockin’ thru the ages. Image taken with the Nikon D40x and the 18-200mm vr Nikon / Nikkor lens. Post processing included HDR in Photomatix Pro with a single image, handheld, at +/- 2 eval. Then into PhotoShop for the vintage effect, then a bit of texture from CG Textures.com.
