“The Little Mermaid” in Copenhagen, Denmark. A glamorous fairy-tale beauty of a bygone era, lost in the context of 20th century industrial reality. It’s one of the key city landmarks, and one of the most photographed. But not from this angle… I just love the contrast between the two worlds and the pure resignation in her posture! An old photo of mine (2000) which I always wanted to go back and tidy up. I came across the film the other day and finally scanned it in.

The simplicity of objects is what stikes me the most as I walk around taking pictures. The sun coming through the window, the old fashioned checkered curtain…the solid hand made mixing bowl. / In this technical age of chrome and high definition..these simple objects spoke volumes.
Why Not?...It just might work!!! The little Museum I visited was the original home of the local country Doctor. His son followed him into the practice and then his son’s son…Three generations of Physicians’ provided medical care to the people of Southern Utah from this little house…

This is the small but lovely chandelier in my bedroom. I wanted a romantic chandelier, small and understated in my bedroom but not something that would break the bank. And so the search was on..and then i found this. I was in love. I could not help but take a picture.
