very old bathtub and pump by teresa riley
there is a separate story for each: / first the bathtub,i wanted one and a friend found it outside and for sale at a mans house across from a church in town,i fixed it up and used it in doors for a long time. / the pump is a new one,they really still sell these in the stores,if you look for them,this particular one was my aunts,i don’t know how long she had it,but she never used it,it was gereen and in a bag that it was purchased in.she died in the LaRoche Estate house {our family home} in 2001.i found it cleaning up th house an as they say {finder’s keepers} i brought it home and paintied it rust proof-red.

Early Memories of Our Childhood 2 by colindove
Don’t you recall before you were defiled / happy delights of being a child / Giggling with friends as you learnt how to play / forty eight hours where coloured by day / Oh, you had tears, so lonely at times / yet they fled away with bedtime and rhymes / Don’t lose the colourful child who is you / covered with paint and sticky sticks of glue / Lovely drawings were created within your back fence / and colours flowed from your eyes as you gave no expense / To the priceless paper and pencils and your colourings you made / tiptoeing with anxiousness to you cubby in the glade / There you completed your present as you licked your lips with glee / for this treasured gift was to my loved ones from me ! / And I smiled….
