Group Rules:

Images of New England ONLY!!!

Please submit materials that are somehow relevant to New England. Material that could be taken anywhere – flowers, birds, and so on – is more appropriate for other groups. I want to keep this group focused on things that are quintessentially “New England”. So if the picture could have been taken anywhere (especially “closeups”) please don’t submit it. There are better groups for that.

Please at a minimum put location of the work in the description and when the shot was taken (Season and Year will do if you’re not sure).
Also if possible a little description of the piece.

Again: Photos must be of something that clearly says “NEW ENGLAND!”, not photos that could have been taken anywhere.
Please, please, PLEASE – NO MORE CLOSEUPS OF FLOWERS!!! If I look at a photo and think “that could have been taken anywhere in the world”, it will be removed. My rules are pretty relaxed, I’m not that picky, but it MUST say “this could not have been taken anywhere but in New England.” That’s the one firm rule.

So….

  1. The region “New England” consists of the states of Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont.
  2. New York and New Jersey are NOT New England states.
  3. Description MUST include the location of work. This includes state AND city, town, region or some identifying description.
  4. Please try and put when shot was taken…Season and Year will do as well as some description of the work.
  5. If the picture could have been taken anywhere please don’t submit it….NO CLOSEUPS!!!!!...You must show “New England”
  6. MUST say “this could not have been taken anywhere but in New England.”
