I love finding areas of the earth’s bones exposed so that you can see the folds and layers of the rock. This image has not been rotated. The strata was at a 45 degree angle. It makes you wonder what pressures and forces it must have experienced to have been twisted that way…

About This Group
It can be the textures and patterns in the bark of a tree, or in large rocks, unusual sand ripples made by water in the sand, perhaps abstract designs in ice and snow. etc.
Like an abstract macro art gallery with the artist being “Mother Nature”.
This group is mainly about the little hidden things in nature that most people wouldn’t notice and that don’t quite fit in most other groups.
