Art of the Middle East

The Challenge

We already have our 12 images for our year end calendar. This challenge seek submissions that will be used as the cover image.
Since we are publishing a calendar that all of its proceeds will be donated to a non profit organization in the middle east, I am challenging each member to submit an image that is strong, bold, and screams “Middle East” think of an image that if you were to browse at a book store to buy a calendar, you will be compelled to pick it up and look into it. Be it a person, vista, activity, art etc. Image should be of the best technical quality, (well composed, sharp, vivid color) and striking.
All submission are subject to the group submission guidelines and must be excepted into the group first.
This is your chance to have a cover photo for our year end project.
No clothing or writing are accepted!

Judging / Voting Criteria

Vote to as many images as you wish, except your own. :-)

Rewards & Prizes

The winning artist will have his/her image as our calendar cover, a chance to be interviewed and exposed to more artists and buyers, not to mention feeling really GOOD!

Additional Information

Images that won our previous challenges or calendar competitions are excluded!
If you have new images or thinking of a new theme, idea, etc, this is the time to create them.
