Ok, well i’ve got a pretty damn good A3 printer at home, i might make some A3’s up on the best quality photopaper and some A4’s maybe….maybe even some greeting card sizes…
any ideas how much a high quality A3 print would go for at this place?
i’d hate to overprice!

Rosina Lamberti Rosina Lamberti 1319 posts

thats cool, how will u present them,,either matted or framed will vary the going price

Josh Le Good Josh Le Good 10 posts

when you say ‘matted’ ...... do you mean just a matte print?
i’d love to have em framed too, but you’d run the risk of buying the frame, and no one buying it, effectively wasting money (poor uni student here hehe, cant take too many financial risks)
what would be a ball park figure for both? i guess it would depend on how much the frame costs…

also, are we bring just the prints we won with in the competition or other pieces?

bringing*

Rosina Lamberti Rosina Lamberti 1319 posts

like this

u could even make them 5×7”images and matt them up in 10×8”matts
even smaller frames,,

Rosina Lamberti Rosina Lamberti 1319 posts

bring along a few different ones,,good for you to expose them in a market,,see what buyers like

Hi Rosina – yet to decide on formats yet …. but I will, I promise!

Madhatt3r, by ‘matted’ I believe Rosina was referring to have your print mounted on a mat board (the cardboard ‘frames’). This option is cheaper and solid framing – DeansArt sell mat boards (precut or custom cut) pretty affordably. Or if you know someone with a mat-board cutter, you can make your own!

ok so matte print is basically say, an A3 image, on a quite large white matte?
will obviously have to get that done at a printing joint..

Josh Le Good Josh Le Good 10 posts

ok great, thanks for that paul

Quote from Rosina for everyone’s reference:

>You will need to order asap to get t-shirt from redbubble on time for market,,,you can also consider up canvas or laminated prints whatever u like…please add this to forum saves me answering same question for 13 peoples,,also u will get to know others who will be attending someone may live close to you and be nice enough to bring it down

I live near Castlemain – Anyone in this area going? I can always drop/meet down in Melbourne on a Thursday Rosina if that is easier too.

Anyone have any idea about amount of product at all? Also has anyone sold shirts at this market before – what would be the best sizes to get??

ahhh so many questions….

Josh Le Good Josh Le Good 10 posts

i know it’s confusing isn’t it! haha..

jemimalovesbigted jemimalovesbigted 563 posts

Wow, thanks for adding me to the selection!

I was wondering if, rather than trying to second-guess the sizes, colour preferences, etc of the punters, it’d be worth displaying a sample of my tee and taking orders at the stall? If it’s not too cheeky, I figured I could assemble a display folder of the other designs in this series, and see if that generates interest in orders of the other designs as well (using this particular design as an example of pritn quality, fabric, etc). Do you think this is ok, or do you only want stock that canbe sold physically from the stall? If it’s the latter, then there’s no worries from me if you feel you need to give the slot to someone else (was enough of an honour to be picked).

Cheers,
Si

are cards ok? I have them in a box for display. Is there a way to hang framed prints …what are you planning? Only framed things? (or are posters ok?) Pricing as we choose or do you have some guidelines?
