The only question I would ask myself is whether to go for a natural look or a smoother effect, which would mean eliminating the scattered pollen dust. The colors are rich and the clarity is excellent. With scrolling, I would say that it doesn’t require any cropping. Although I might be inclined to crop in on the left. I could play with cropping for awhile to decide. Again it would depend on the effect I wanted. Its a great image to play with!

I like the positioning. And I agree with lexsis on the smooth or natural look. I think both would have thier merits.

love the framing – I personally would love to have seen the centre stamen being the main in focus imho :)

Hi Karen! Love the way you positioned this in the frame. The lighting is great too so my only comment about this would be to try another shot like this with the focus on the stem part instead of the bottom and see what it looks like….you could at least compare the two and see if there is any inherent difference that makes one better than the other. They may both look good equally.. :-)

I wouldn’t change a thing on it. While I understand you probably took this for artistic reasons, this might do well as a stock photo. I could see a nursery or two using it in their ads. :)
