nice sharpness, lighting and colour ballance, shame the DoF is so shallow tho.
generally speaking we like to see thier eyes, but i understand what you are doing here.

Works well, very well exposed, lack of DOF I don’t find a problem. Composition could be better though, having more space in the area that the spider is looking into.

having shot this little critter myself i know how difficult it is. being no bigger than a fingernail DOF is elusive here. what bothers me is that chunk of debris in the web obscuring the spiders head. a little more room in front of the spider is a good idea too.

wonderful colours and love the web = agree that the little bit of fluff on the higher leg is a little distracting and could be removed in PS – overall I love this shot

Very nice subject, I find this to be a little OOF though, it does have some nice colors. soley JMHO
