Moreton Corbet Castle by Matthew Walters

Moreton Corbet Castle is situated in Moreton Corbet, Just outside Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The castle fell into disuse in the 18th Century and comprises sections of both medieval and Elizabethan structures. The gatehouse dates from the 11th or 12th Century. Much of the stonework is marked by musket damage sustained during the English Civil War; Shrewsbury was a Royalist town. Taken with Nikon D200, Lensbaby Composer with Soft Focus optic at f4.
