This is the cover of a book that I illustrated for Brolly Books. It was released in may, but I’ve been a bit slack in promoting it! Basically it’s all about baby spiders and their families.
I thought the classic Victorian lines of this old dear lent themselves to the woodcut/linocut treatment.

A painting I did of a little character I made out of femo and fabric and what fun I had with the whole exercise. This painting measures 7×9 cm and was painted in watercolours on watercolour canvas, the playing card is less than 1cm in height.
