1. PHOTOGRAPHS of CAPTIVE ANMALS ONLY please. OUR DEFINITION OF CAPTIVE IS: IF SHELTER AND FOOD ARE PROVIDED FOR THESE ANIMALS.
2. We want these animals to be seen for their beauty and we want to see your best work. So, please no bars or cages and NO SNAPSHOTS!! Put your photo enhancement skills to work and let’s see what you’ve got! Textures and layering are welcome but at the end of the day, it should still resemble a photograph.
3. IMPORTANT!! In your image description, you must state where your image was taken: Zoo, Aquarium, Aviary, Wildlife Reserve, Petting Zoo, etc. Also, please let us know in your image description what kind of animal it is.
4. The images that are being submitted should be CAPTIVE ANIMALS ONLY! WE ARE DEFINING THIS AS ANIMALS THAT HAVE SHELTER AND FOOD PROVIDED FOR THEM*. No domestic animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, family pets etc. We love all animals but there are other groups that you can join dedicated to these types of animals.
5. PLEASE submit only TWO images per day. We want everyone’s art to be seen.
6. If you continually re-submit images that do not follow group guildelines, you will be removed from the group without notice.
7. As hosts, we will be actively featuring your images, posting challenges, sending group messages and asking for your suggestions. The key to being a member of this group is to BE ACTIVE….. this is OUR group! We encourage members to leave positive comments and suggestions; who doesn’t like to hear that their picture caught the eye of another redbubbler!!
