This will be the last origami piece I post before heading off to Rome; and I will unlikely be doing anymore while I’m in school. I’m not fooling around; I made these ducks before in the first version of “3cm Family Swim” as shown above; and remember I said I may redo that shot at some point? I’ll still keep the other one up though. In this coloured version I coloured the water and sky and placed a transparent ruler over the water. This one has one less duckling than the previous one (I laid off the little guy who wouldn’t raise his bum :P) Every duck was folded from trace paper; mommy duck was folded from a 15×15mm piece, the middle one was 6×6mm, and the little one at the back 5×5mm. Journeying through love with you as a pair, / I came to see love like a flowing river, / Flowing over smooth and rough courses, / Our love is never meant to be placid, / As love is never meant to be, / Sitting still like a rock. ~ Fion Lim
My friend bought rock candy AND icecream…
I met a girl who likes piano… Critique welcome, but remember i’m only 16…

Taken at sunset, I come home to these each day and they never fail to put a smile on my face.

HDR panorama of the Church of Advocate, Philadelphia. This Gothic revival church, built 1887-1897,served a growing african american community after,1930. National historical landmark. Remembered as a center to to host major black power events in 1960. The Church played a key role in women’s and religious history as the site of the “irregular” ordinations as priest of the first group of 11 women in the Episcopal Church in 1974. Prior to the ceremony the parish approved the following statement: “The goals of the Advocate have always been to move towards one world, one people, and one love concept. We are not afraid to take any step or measure that will make that concept a reality.” Within two years the Episcopal Church officially authorized the ordination of women.
I think I accidently deleted this, so here it is again.
I like to reflect a lot on life and I like to think of this as a “little slice of life”. It’s quite different to a lot of my other work; but then again they’re all very unique to themselves. I kinda like it, but I would really appreciate some feedback. Tell me what you think, please :)

Best viewed LARGE This guy had had his car for 2 weeks when we took it into the desert for a spin. He is a bit of a lunatic driver, so when we got to what has been nicknamed ‘The Wall of Death’, he decided to have a go getting up it. However, rather than going up at an angle, he decided it would be a good idea to just hit it at right angles and hope he was going fast enough. In the process of applying this approach, he ripped his bumper apart. The black shape you see isnt rubbish, it is part of his car. Insurance doesnt cover desert driving. (Note- we went into the desert with him again more recently. This time he shot over a dune too fast, then nosedived into the base of it as it was only about 3m high. He set off his airbags, cracked the windscreen, ripped something off the base of his car and deformed the bodywork, meaning the door wouldnt open properly. Everyone inside was ok, but that was the last time we go to the desert with him!!) Nikon D90, Nikkor 18-105mm lens Inland Sea, Qatar.

Hi everyone! I invite you to join this fantastic group, as long as you are twenty five or under.
‘young enthusiasts’ is an exciting place, full of positivity, support, smiles and cheer, and I work to keep it that way every day!
As long as work is kept ‘clean’ it should be accepted, and new features are placed around every two days, giving each peice time to be seen, and appreciated fully.
