/ detail of “Patch” Patch was born from an idea I got from browsing the junk mail this morning, a pair of cute striped girls pyjamas gave me the initial idea for a striped elephant, but he just developed as i went, and turned into “Patch”.... loose threads of cotton show little Patch isn’t quite finished yet, just as we are still growing and changing and learning….so is he, we are all a little like Patch really created from an original drawing, reconstructed in Photoshop

Conditions of Entry for Womanly Tshirt exhibition

15July 09 by Rod Bennett, Manly Daily
This group is not only about the perfect T-Shirt Design but about ‘Womanly’ Art on T-shirts. We invite all non T-Shirt designers to get your ‘womanly’ work on tshirst and also to submit.
The theme ‘Womanly’ is to express a positive self image of women. It’s something behind cultural & social differences, race & sexual preferences that connects all women. Just BE CREATIVE in writing, photography, painting, digital design or all of them.
In this group works with explicit sexual references, explicit sexual poses, violence (guns, dripping blood etc), curse language, offensive text and imagery towards religion etc, political statements etc will not be allowed. Just use your common sense.
The public art project – T Shirt line will be erected in a public place at Manly’s beach front and as such should be family friendly.
We will run a couple of challenges over the coming months from which a final selection will be made and those artists will be invited to exhibit their work for ‘Womanly@ Manly Beach’
Create your Tags on tshirts
We also started a NEW CHALLENGE for postcard tags
Congratulations on T-shirt challenge winners!!
