About This Group

We are looking for high quality shots of cats in the wild or living in a wildlife setting. This does not include feral or any type of domestic cats.

We are looking to capture the spirit of those cats struggling to survive in the wild. Shots that include the cats and their environment are welcome. Some groups prohibit shots that show hunting and prey, however this group, because it is all about wild cats, welcome shots that include the prey. We will have the right to remove shots that might be considered too extreme, but it is part of nature.

While we respect zoos and we support them, we feel a need to have a group that focuses on the cats in their wild settings. We will accept shots that have been taken at free roaming reserves but of course we would love to focus on shots from their home turf.

We plan on running features once a week and an occasional challenge. We encourage folk to join the group even if they might not have photos to submit.
