OK, so I decided to have a change from pencil and do some ink, and found that I quite enjoyed it and got quite carried away! This one is inspired a little by one of my favourite artists, Gustav klimt, and a lot by fellow redbubblers: anni morris and / anitainverarity
One of my friends is about to get married tomorrow and of course I’m invited to the wedding. =) / Since we didn’t really have any cards around the house, I just decided to make one myself! =D Done with oil pastel on cardboard.

Wedding attendant invitation, for sister to be the Chief Bridesmaid.
A moment of solitude where a bride contemplates her day, and perhaps the future which lies ahead for her. My hope is that everyone seeing this will draw their own conclusions as to her thoughts and feelings. I used graphite pencils in grades 2H, HB, 2B, 6B, and 8B to create this drawing. I chose to use Strathmore Bristol 300 series paper in size 19×24. Featured in the Wedding Illustrations Group Thank you!
funny cartoon of rabbits being in love
A couple and their dog relax after a stroll along the prommenade. Aberystwyth sneaks into this picture… I was lucky enough at one point to have a window just like this one. I owned tit tat second hand furniture and handmade dreamcatchers, wine bottles made great candle holders and it was freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer. But it was the single most beautiful room I have ever lived in!!!
Inspired by fabulous artist Sam Phillips and the lyrics of her song If I Could Write: If I could write I’d set all the words free / to follow you / Tell you wonder, tell you secrets and solitude / I’ve had to let go off so much / It’s hard to hold on now / Something far off is pulling me and / When I go this time I don’t think I’m coming back I took your ring that never comes off and put it on / Sorry to lose you, sorry to keep you after you were gone / Nothing is small, nothing is unexpected / I want more / When I go this time I don’t think I’m coming back Desire’s the element that I can’t fight / Dream is the arm of God / Girl’s looking for themselves in your eyes / I’m looking for you / What’s this supposed to be some kind of perfect / I want more / When I go this time I don’t think I’m coming back sam@youtube
A couple and their dog watch the waves crash on the sea wall. This series of illustrations echo the places that I have lived in the past such as the coast of wales and cornwall. The lamp posts and fairy lights are from Aberystwyth, the town houses are Aberystwyth and Newquay, and the bench overlooking the sea is iconic of all the beautiful seaside towns that I am constantly drawn to where I dream away hours at a time painting or people watching!
