How long were you in the queue? / / we had to queue up for an hour for the grocery / / as long as we know that small shop only sells food and other things used in the home, so you are here for some grocery?what you are going to buy? / / some dreams / / dreams? at grocery store? / / yeah / / are you mad? / / No! / / your noisy child have need some attention could you pay some attention? why he is making noise? / / I know.. what do you know? your child is starving! / / He’s off his food / / how you will pay the grocery bill? as you are skint! / / Don’t interfere in what doesn’t concern you / / It concerns me that you no longer seem to care. / / (she went quiet) / / you tried to turn your dream of running your own business into reality? / / (but I conceded that my teasing is getting beyond a joke as she did not get the joke) / / I dreamt that I got the world world? you mean this world? Trust you to dream up a crazy idea like this! / / Maybe! / / are you crazy? / / I don’t know, but only thing i know that I’m a mother and being a mother I feel a strong sense of responsibility towards my children! / / your responsibility being a mother is a different story but I remembered you were talking about your dreams! / / both are exactly the same / / how? / / (she were quiet) / / what do you do for living? do you have enough money to pay the grocery Bill? I can lend you some money till tomorrow! / / sorry I haven’t need! you have a lot of money to spend? / maybe.. (I saw her clenched fist, she won’t drop a coin. it seems, she is having a power in her clenched fist!) / / do you want come to power? / / I won’t political control of a country or an area, I won’t power or to seize anything. I won’t rule the earth or world! I have little and small dreams! / It is not within my power to help myself! I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies / / Why don’t you work? / / No, I don’t work, my husband has passed away last week I don’t know exactly how we’ll manage it, but we will, somehow / / (she started to weep uncontrollably) / / Oh sorry to hear! I just can understand! / / his sudden death dealt a blow to the whole family / I don’t know how to deal with issues and problems but I have to manage all that without him / / (She struggled hard to control her unruly emotions) / / / Please pay some attention to your child, Small children have a very short attention span. / / / (she went quiet. her body were covered with weeping sores. she’s seem deserving pity and sympathy!) / / your child making a lot of noise, he looked half starved, I know the people / they provided food and shelter for the poor, you should go and see them! / / (she were not supposed to listen more as she passed me in the store without even saying bye) / / What do want? / (store keeper asked the woman behind the counter) (her child was still making lots of noise, he was starved) / / some milk! / / do you have some money? / / (she looked around, there were not any body, only i was standing in the store and the distance was not measured in miles!) / / yeah! / (she saw her clenched fist) / / that only coin u have? / / yes! / / sorry but it’s not enough to get some milk / / Listen, my child is starved / / then? / / I need some milk! / / madam, a thing that is worth, you have to pay money for it / / I will pay later / when? / soon! / / Are you paying in cash or by credit card? / / (He burst out laughing) Will your dad lend you the money?’ ‘Don’t make me laugh! Please try to understand, my child needs some milk / / ‘Oh, you poor thing.’ / I haven’t large amount of money at the moment but.. / you are in financial difficulties, that coin you are having in clenched fist It isn’t worth much but i know how much is this body worth? / / (He whispered) / / What do you mean? she was stunned / / You know what I mean! This idea is well worth considering! / your child is really hungry! / / that poor lady were quiet! / Keep the door closed! store will not open for a period of time for the public! / / store keeper looked at me and i moved quietly!

/ / Casualty of Depression This is the final piece that goes with my writing Casualty of Depression... / Casualty of Depression…. / Your eyes have lost their lustre, / Your smile I see no more, / Your lack passion for all around you, / Your depression is eating my soul… / Your tainting my world with your bitter touch, / Your bringing me down to your way, / You smother me in your darkness, / And there is no fucking escape… / You resist all of my efforts, / To bring a smile to your lips, / You hold back from affection, / You withdraw from all of this… / You shrink back from the light, / Ready to fight, / Oh What a sight, / Your so twisted in your despair, / You cant see how much we care, / And how much it hurts us so, / The damage you wreak, / The pain you seek, / All because your low, / Deep in your depression, / Deep in your despair, / Your melancholy anger, / Can give off quite a scare… / And then you speak of suicide, / Of wanting it all to end… / And all I can do is be there, / Try and be a good friend. / But your killing me, / With all your hate, / With all this loathing of life so great… / Its taking its toll, / Leaving a hole, / Chipping away at my defences from fate. / And I could be you, / And you could be me, / What would you offer then, / To make it all sweet… / Understanding your pain, / Is drivin me insane, / Why cant I fix it and make you whole again.. / Why cant we win in this awful game… / I try to bring you light and hope each day, / but you continue to turn me away, / I’m just not sure how much more I can take…. / But all this I wont tell, / Wont burden your brow, / Will keep it inside where it cant damage your plight, / To emerge from your darkness into the light… / Where you are so missed, / And cared for and loved, / But you refuse to see us, / Thru your cloud of self doubt… / And all of your hatred and anger misplaced, / Threatens to tear down the walls in this place, / Threatens to destroy all of us who you love, / But you just do not see it… / What you’re doing to us, / And sooner or later if this goes on how it is, / We’ll have to let go… / And you’ll be on your own… / But you always be loved and you’ll always be missed, / please for our sake dont let it come to this… / I can no longer tell, / If I have the strength, / to get us all thru this, / up to the end… dimarie 08 Click on any category above for that genre… or / Click here to go back to my profile page ... thanx :)

Old D. W. is probably the type of wealthy usurer that preys upon the weaknesses of his peers and was the playground bully’s favorite fodder as a wee gnomeling. Thus, he grew into a cynical miser who uses the all-mighty dollar to exact his revenge. Hrolfgut the troll is an insurance policy well worth the price.

Dangerous Days IV by Robert O'Neill
An unsuspecting replicant is about to meet her fate. Dangerous Days was the original name of the screenplay and film, Blade Runner. I felt the decaying background (model by Stefan Morel) contrasted nicely with the high tech replicant, who is about to be retired. Blade Runner is one of my favourite movies of all time, and the book is another favourite, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? On a similar theme: Dangerous Days: and Nexus 6

Thick and Dark This Moonless Night by Karirose
Acrylic on wood, 10×16 Both the title and inspiration come from Despise This Disease Despise This Disease Thick and dark this moonless night, Twisted and tangled the uphill narrow climb Forward progress in disguise as affliction and deplorable defeat. Each branch with it brings a slap to the face, every vine a poisonous thorn. Behind the eyes lies torturous agony (full of despair) Lost and solitaire with no one to find, and no one to search Defying rational explanation, excruciating pain pervades. No words to define, no pictures to paint, only despise this disease. Never-ending, always scraping, scratching Through the damp and dark cold towers. Light will come? Momentary- Just a microscopic lonely candle wickedly extinguished by the blasting blow. Hatred for this journey, a stony, callous, cruel trick from god. Traveling always, never to cease. No joy, no breath, no scenic view Only hatred for the disorder Only live to despise this disease. If only I’d known I would have declined If only I’d have known no promises would I have made If only I’d have known, I would be gone. Somewhere in the middle of a several month long depression I painted this piece on an old board. It was some time after 11pm when inspiration hit me suddenly. This was the result. Always interesting what creations occur in the quiet of the night.

Now things starting to get a little more complicated. More intricate lines , images in images. Shades and light blending and absorbing in them selves. In this image I worked with my focus on the mind, different minds. Not only state of minds, but our different minds. Thinking mind…. feeling mind…creative mind..judging mind….busy mind.
