Main character from a “novel” that I’m writing, titled ‘choices in limbo’. Currently, the book is set in Germany, back in the days of Burlesque and glamour… where a young girl named Emily dreams of meeting Germany’s number one Burlesque star, Amelia Hausenstein. After winning a competition to meet and have a photo op. with Amelia, Emily sets out (literally by sneaking out of her home at night) to explore the foreign adult world. Expect to meet the lovely street rapist scum, the warlocks, the mysterious homeless mystics, witches, etc, and the lovely and beautiful estate and residents of Amelia Hausenstein’s world. no, that is not the blurb to my book… I made this up on the spot. The blurb will probably open the door to the horror, glamour, sex and magic that explodes in this book…

Victoriandustrial.
Victorian era with an edgy modern goth, punk, subculture feel. Corsets, tea parties, absinthe, Gothic Lolita. It’s subculture baby, alternative decadence. Think tight-laced corsets, decadent tea parties, bustle skirts and combat boots. Absinthe drinkers, Dandy wretched men in tophat and tales, striped stockings and chains.
This group is for modern subculture weirdness in love with the Victorian. All forms of art and photography only. No writings or architecture at this time. Pieces must contain the human aspect.
Timeline from 1837-1901.
We have no problem with dark, risque pieces.
REMEMBER: VICTORIAN & SUBCULTURE is a must in these pieces.
