Valentines and Hearts

Hi all bubblers who read this,I am writing here for the first time.I am amazed at the artistry you can see here.There are so many interesting groups to choose from to place your art into.I am a little overwhelmed. / The hosts are so prompt at helping any problems.The comments from / bubblers across our planet have given me so much good feedback about my art.It is encouraging for a beginner to hear. Art can be lonely at times so I,ve enjoyed the banter.Creating more works will be my goal and to post on a regular basis,and to give feedback to others too. / I only began this art journey a year ago,at the end of november.It,has been a year of firsts.I joined our local art club in jan.,had my first painting hung in an art show,what an experience.The next big event was to send in a picture of a painting I did for earth day 2009 to our two newspapers and they both published the painting and one did a feature story .A great feeling .I entered a jouried show in september and one of the paintings I entered was chosen to tour northern ontario for a year. I will culminate this year with a solo show in december, of 31 original acrylic paintings.The show is called ,2009 a year of following the Muse.Now here at redbubble my first internet site Iam so honored to have 8 features in 2 weeks. .this is so wonderful. I write this not to pat myself on the back(well maybe a little) but to encourage anyone with a passion for art not ot wait 40 years to follow your dreams.Make the time to try ,do something for your art daily ,go after yor dreams.It took a long time for me to realize this so don,t wait do it now. / I am older at 66 so learning the computor ,learning to type, learning downloading ,photo manipulation,what lol.means ,typing , a dsr camera ,the brain is taxed to the max.,but it is truely fun . / Thanks to all who read this ,hope you can relate .In friendship I closre this first entry in my journal.
