Winter in the North-East USA

Group Rules:

What kind of work should you submit?

1.It should CLEARLY depict WINTER in the Northeast USA. Please see the list of Northeastern States above. Look at your work and ask yourself the following question: Is it blatantly OBVIOUS to any viewer that this work depicts Winter or very early Spring?

2. You MUST include the CITY, STATE, MONTH and YEAR that the photo was taken or other art was created or inspired. Put this information in the DESCRIPTION BOX.
Art without info will not be accepted.

3. Only submit your very best. We want the gallery to reflect great work.

4. Upload no more than 3 works per day. 10 total at any given time. Feel free to swap out new work for old if you’ve reached the maximum.

5. At the present time we are only accepting work from Winter 2009 – 2010.

Please do NOT submit:

1. Photos/artwork of a single flower. The work should give the viewer an idea of what the N.E. USA looks like and a single bloom doesn’t do that. . If you’re unsure about whether or not your photo belongs in this group, browse through our gallery to see what it’s about.. All photos must be of an artistic nature.

2. Framed photos.

3. Heavily “photoshopped” work.

4. Garden Center or Flower Show shots.

By joining, you agree that your submissions may or may not be accepted to the group based on the guidelines and the opinions of the hosts. The decisions of the hosts are final and will not be explained, discussed and/or debated. Rejected work may not be resubmitted unless the rejection statement tells you to make adjustments and resubmit. If you do not agree with the guidelines or that you cannot debate rejected work, please do not join this group.

When work is rejected, it isn’t one of life’s most horrible moments. We respectfully request that you accept the fact that sometimes your work will be accepted and sometimes it won’t and when it’s not that just means you should try again with other work.
