The centerpiece and inspiration for this design comes from the antique Rollieflex camera. I wanted to pay homage to the antiquity of photography, one of the newest, yet most popular current art forms. The orange coloring of the camera was inspired by the French style of painting where an outline was painted onto the canvas at first and colored later by an imprecise wash. I used a sans font for the main title, with modification, and mirrored it. Check out my design blog designbysolo.com to view photographs of a printed version of this and other prints. Small Steps by ayarti

Sustainability is the big topic at university at the moment. Last semester we had a pretty interesting lecture from our new Dean, which was all about how we as a school and we as designers can help implement sustainable change. One of his points was that tackling big issues as a whole is tough, but if the individuals each play their part and take small steps towards change, then it amounts to a big outcome from which bigger steps can be taken. And so brings us to this design, enjoy.
