Thats all
African Puff Adder (Bitis arietans arietans) / Quite a bad-tempered snake, responsible for more fatalities than any other African snake due to its wide distribution, large size, large amounts of potent venom (cytotoxic) and long fangs that inject it deeply. They are reluctant to flee and willing to bite, always hissing and puffing when approached, hence the common name.
Yellow Green Palm Viper (Bothriechis lateralis)
A rattle snake having a bad day, not only does he have a hair in his eye, but also an irritating fruit fly on the tip of his nose (you have to look very close if you dare)
Banded Mangrove Snake (Boiga dendrophila melatona) / Taking a rest after moulting (sloughing). / This rear fanged, mildly poisonous snake inhabits mainly South East Asia.
Timber Rattlesnake / Crotalus horridus atricaudatus. / A venomous pitviper species found in the eastern United States.
Western green mamba (Dendroaspis viridis). West Africa. / Closely related to the Eastern green mamba and the Black mamba. Although it has a similar, dangerously neurotoxic venom as the black mamba, it is not as potent and injects smaller quantities. It is also not as nervous as its cousin. Found mainly in trees but does sometimes venture to the ground to bask or chase its prey. 32 Favourites / 568 Views / Featured in: / - RB Homepage Nov. 2009

This group is for the VENOMOUS snakes, I would like to say this is a fantastic shot taken by Linda Sass of a Chapple Island TIger snake Well Done to Linda

they are a great reptile and are persecuted through out Australia, The Tiger snake was the first recorded snake to kill the first settlers so it has some history as well as being one of the most wonderful elapid snakes around.
