This is a little different from most groups on RedBubble. The compact disc is starting to be less used, but there are still billions of them in existence. So let's use them to create art!

About This Group
We all have old back up computer discs from work, old scratched music CDs, old computer program CDs that are now obsolete, and all those freebie CDs that you don’t want to throw away but don’t have a use for.
BUT… they make a wonderful surface to paint on, and can be used in a myriad of ways in art, so lets get creative!!
This group is for artists to get involved in a green and creative recycling project. Do you want to have a go at creating art from CDs? Or even (to get really retro) old LP records?
It can be ANYTHING. Paint on it? Collage on it? Make it into sculpture? Use it some way in photography? You are only limited by your own imagination!
Let’s get a global initiative going creating art from other people’s rubbish!
If you don’t have (for some bizarre reason) any old CDs to work with, we are happy to post some out to you to get started with.
