Christmas lights
shining so bright,
squeaky clean faces
hidden from sight,
he abandoned the cross
on this cold
northern night,
the avenues alive

Back alley nightmares,
red glistening snow,
faces of shame,
nowhere to go,
heels clanking lightly,
a life full of pain,
