This challange adds a bit of cunning to the average hobby of illustrating feeling. In this challange the art of design should tell a story of your own personal design. Of course since this is The Torch, we would like gruesome, dark and over all clever. Ghost stories, sarcastic tales, even just a single-scene depiction. Short comic strips will be accepted but try to have some over-all variety.
The art or design should contain either a picture that tells a story-should basically explain itself. You may add words but try to keep it to a minimum. You should be able to clearly make out what’s going on in the sequence with a clear understanding of the plot or main idea. Yes, I know this is a hard one but I thought it would be a change from the average.
We all know what the prizes and rewards shall be but I will repeat them again for those of you that don’t keep up:
If you are selling the art work or design it will be posted to a buyer’s page and advertised on every blog and page available to my disposal.
It will also become our groups banner, in addition to that it will be featured and who can forget bragging rights.
The example image is not that great because I made it when I was around 15 but I think it gets to the point. You probably can’t see the entire image well, the first bubble says: “You know you really shouldn’t play with guns. You could really hurt someone.”
The second bubble says: “I wasn’t playing, this was premeditated.”
