At least it sure seemed to be as the snow slithered and crawled as the wind pushed it across the road.

“The nativity of the Lord” This is a special dress. The precious jacquard fabric of white lilies on the light-golden basis was bought at an ancient Lyons factory (we divided the roll half-and-half with the House of Dior), and then we could not find a suitable scarlet velvet. It is magnificent velvet, with a bright color and the texture like a myriad of rubies. The long medieval sleeves of the dress and its inside are lined with it representing the blood of the Lamb – the Son of God. The white color symbolizes His righteousness and the Lily is the symbol of the Gospel about the birth of the Savior. / The model who was demonstrating this dress in Sydney, a non-Christian girl named Madeleine, was filled with an awe of God’s touch, going on the podium. After the show I had to persuade her to take off the dress because she was afraid to lose God’s presence. I promised her that if she opens her heart to Christ, He will clothe her in His clothes of righteousness. And the next day we saw her shining face in church.

A very Merry Christmas to all!!! This image is a personal favorite of mine … looking closely you can see the shape of a cross at the top of the large tree at the end of the fence line … one of those situations where the camera saw what the photographer did not. Taken at the top of Blue Knob in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. This image was taken on January 20, 2009 with the Nikon D40x and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. 1/320, aperture f/14.00, exp. -.33, iso 400. Textures added in Photoshop.

Now is the time to Contemplate the Past and Think about the Future. Betty used inpressionist techniques and soft hues to create a moment of quiet contemplation.
