see A Maestro at Work by Shaun Whiteman…..Consider yourself a Maestro too mate. (Though why your arm is blurred I don’t know, you never move fast!) / Somewhere in the Lake District National Park / Sony Alpha 350 DSLR
Most weekends we go out in the pre dawn hoping for something a bit special. 99 times out of 100 we miss out. This morning 08-11-09 must have been day 100. This is Grump who yet again is my victim in the sillouette game. Taken somewhere we really should not have been not far from Rippleside after a tip off from a bloke we met yesterday morning.
Taken this morning 07-11-09 on the rocks just West of the closed promenade. What I like about this shot is that the horizon is crooked but Grump is vertical?? Note: This was taken pre coffee so he may have been about to fall?

/ FEATURED in the following groups: / The Sisterhood Oct. 30, 2009 / The Photographer in Action Nov. 02, 2009 / This is my story to you today It is bizarre how we see ourselves while others see us differently…............. While the camera shows the true view…. we see a different view. We may see ourselves thinner, more beautiful, soulful, happy, content…...or see ourselves as fat, ugly, unwanted…....... While others see us as objects, not up to par, they are better than us because they see themselves as a reflection of perfection in a strictly visual sense…..., or see us as more beautiful than we really are visually, because of our true soul…. We, on the other hand see ourselves as beautiful when it relates to love, heart, compassion, forgiveness for rudeness, understanding, patience, hope, recognition of the true soul, knowing they are lost in a who is the most beautiful in the mirror. What is the definition of beauty…..... and is that word the most important in their dictionary ? I look for love, intelligence, integrity, compassion, fever for life, laughter, fun, the joy of a smile, a kiss, a knowing, a love for life to experience, a conscience of truth, a small child recognizing a true soul and going to a complete stranger they know is good, trust, when a destitute person knows you recognize his pain, when an abused child knows you are different and then his mind knows he can change too, when people give up all the negative and fearful words they have been given by others….. I say to all who have ears and eyes to see…..... The camera never lies…...... it has no conscience, no predjudices, no thoughts or fears…...... it tells us to look at who we really are…......... We can pretend…....... but who are we really pretending to…......... Let go of your fears and just trust what is in your heart and not what a fearful society dictates as your rules…........... I think a duckbilled platypus is beautiful…..................... smile and be who you are…......... the real people will recognize you and be your friend FOREVER…....... these are my thoughts only…........ no judgment to others intended…......... my sweet and loving friend showed me the last three days …....... people’s patience while they wait…. can finally see their own way….........when one statement or thought can change their whole life.

Who needs a tripod when you can use your knees? This was taken on a recent trip to Toronto (Ontairo, Canada) to visit and take photographs with my good friend, Peter Lessey. Peter kept telling me about how helpfull a tripod is when taking landscape shots. I guess your knees can work in a pinch.
This group was created to show all Photographers in Action.
Shows us ONLY YOURSELF or SOMEONE taking photos! A CAMERA has to be part of the shot.
This is so much fun, all of us behind the camera:)
If you don´t find someone to take a nice shot of you, there is always a mirror, a shop window, your reflection on water…:)))))
