About This Group

The 50mm prime lens offers a perspective and shooting style no other lens offers. This is a group for the photographer who appreciates the timeless classic of photography, the 50mm prime lens. These lenses are affordable and fun to work with, so get out there people and work that prime lens, move out of your comfort zone and create something special. Let us show the other groups what timeless beauty we created here.

Group Rules:

- All work is approved before being accepted and a 50mm PRIME LENS MUST BE used (listed in the description or the work will not be accepted).

- 40mm, 45mm and 55mm prime lenses now accepted

- Film is accepted.

- No frames added to the images – we just want to see the pure image itself.

- No nudity

- HDR is acceptable as long as it is photorealistic.

- For all works submitted, Exposure and Composition must be spot on.

- Featured works will be selected by the hosts and will be chosen based on what moves us and what appeals to our senses.
